Policies & Terms of Use


SHIPPING

Orders will generally ship within 5 business days unless it is a custom order or the item is on backorder.  If an item is on backorder, it will ship out as soon as it is received in our warehouse.  You will be charged for shipping before the backordered item ships if you want your other items shipped within the 5 days if we haven't received the backordered item.  Shipping charges may not be sufficient for bulky merchandise that will be shipped by dimensions or packages that weigh over 50 lbs. that will be shipped in multiple packages.  We reserve the right to charge for these additional shipping costs.  Include your physical address for FedEx, UPS, USPS, or Freight delivery as they will not deliver to a P.O.box (unless an item fits into an envelope or is less than 14 ounces).  All items that cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address may be returned to us and you will be responsible for the shipping cost to ship the items again and/or to correct the address.  Please indicate if residential or business address.  Free ground shipping within contiguous U.S. states on ALL orders over $99.  You will be charged for shipping in other areas.  Glass Containers and Wax Foundation are shipped at your own risk.  If an item(s) is on backorder, your complete order will be shipped when the item is available; otherwise, you are responsible for the shipping cost on the backordered item(s).


GUARANTEE

If you are not satisfied with your merchandise (see exclusions) for any reason it may be returned within 14 days of the purchase for a refund, exchange, or credit. The product must be unused, unaltered, and undamaged condition in original packing/box for refund or replacement.  Inspect and assemble upon receipt and report any issues within 5 days of receipt.  Buyer pays for return shipping  with a shipper that provides a tracking #, insurance, and signature upon delivery.

EXCLUSIONS NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES OR WARRANTIES ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS (INCLUDES IN STORE PURCHASES:

  • Packaged Bees, NUCS, and Queens
  • Medications
  • Feed (i.e. Pollen Patties), Liquids, Nutritional Supplement, Smoker Fuel
  • Beeswax
  • Foundation (Wax or Plastic)
  • Containers, jars, buckets, lids (plastic or glass)       
  • Note on live bees:   Shippers do not insure live bees. If you want to purchase insurance, let us know.  If you don't purchase insurance, they will be shipped at your own risk and we will not be held responsible for any loss. Insurance is $10 per package, $2.50 per Queen and all packages or queens in your order have to be insured, we will not partially insure orders. Insurance only applies to arrival and does not cover any issues after delivery. If your bees arrive dead and you have purchased insurance, we will replace your bees one time only and you will have to pay for any shipping cost


DISCREPANCIES

If you would like to change an order we will do everything we can to help you. If the order has already shipped, it may be returned only if merchandise meets return policy guidelines and subject to a 20% restocking fee.


PRICING

All pricing is subject to change without notice.  Of course, we will always provide the best prices possible.  Due to rapid changes in our economy today, all orders will be invoiced on the basis of prices that are in effect at the time of shipment. Please feel free to confirm prices at any time.            


SALES TAX

We are required to collect sales tax where applicable by law. Sales Tax Exemptions are allowed if you have a signed Certificate. State Law requires that certificates to be on file before any tax exemption is allowed.


METHODS OF PAYMENT

Visa, MasterCard, Discover: (via in store, website, fax, e-mail, or mail-in order), Certified Checks, or Money Orders.  No COD’s or personal checks.     


ERRORS

We are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors that may appear in any of our material. We reserve the right to makeadjustments or corrections due to changing market conditions, product discontinuations or typographical or photographic errors in products.


DAMAGES

All merchandise will be shipped via FedEx,  USPS or Freight.  Merchandise being shipped becomes your property when it is given to the carrier. The carrier is responsible for the complete and safe delivery of your merchandise. It is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect the merchandise when it is delivered. If the carrier fails to deliver your merchandise in good condition, it is your responsibility to file a damage or loss claim with the carrier.  The carrier may require photos of the package and damaged merchandise, so save your original packaging.


Check all items immediately upon receipt for any issues, or errors and assemble within 5 days to ensure proper fit; and contact us within 5 days on any discrepancies or we cannot be responsible for errors or any issues.


SPECIAL ORDERS

A 50% deposit must be paid on all special orders and will be subject to a cancellation charge.  Balance is due on pickup or prior to delivery.


RETURNED MERCHANDISE

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt but you must contact us within 5 days of receipt with any errors, defects or issues.  Include the original receipt, method of payment, and indicate the reason for return, and action to be taken (exchange/refund).  Buyer pays for returns via a carrier/shipper that provides a tracking number, delivery signature, and insure with insurance for its full valve!  Item must be in original carton with packing, unused, unabused, unaltered, and new condition with all miscellaneous materials such as manuals and accessories. Buyer is responsible for shipping on returns and exchanges (unless it is seller error).  We cannot accept returns sent COD and original shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.  If you experience any product defects outside of our return period, please contact the product’s manufacturer.  Deviations from this policy may result in a 20% return processing service charge.  To ensure purity, we cannot exchange or offer refunds on beeswax foundation, medications or chemicals or exclusion items.


CLOSINGS

Our retail store is closed on all national holidays, Saturdays (September 1 to March 1) and Sundays.  You can order anytime online.


LIABILITY

Conditions of use are beyond our control, so we make no warranty or representation, express or implied, except that all products conform to the description provided by the manufacturer on sales literature or product labels. Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid.


PRODUCT SUITABILITY

​All localities have codes and regulations governing sales, construction, installation, and or use of products for certain purposes.  While we attempt to assure that our products comply with such codes, we cannot guarantee compliance in every situation. We cannot be responsible for how the product is installed or used. Before you purchase and use a product, please review both the product application and local codes and regulations.  Be sure that the product, its installation, and its use is in compliance.
